  • Overview

    Principal Objective of Position:

    The IT Administrator is responsible for the day to day administration of information technology systems at Trinitas Ventures as well as completing projects related to ongoing operations and new developments.  These systems include but are not limited to network devices, servers, SaaS, SharePoint, security systems, and video recording and A/V equipment. 



    Essential Functions:

    • Process IT help requests from end users via software, e-mail, and telephone in a timely and professional manner.
    • Design and implement IT requirements for new offices / developments.
    • Develop quality documentation of IT processes and procedures.
    • Identify, recommend and help implement improvements to IT infrastructure, implementation procedures, and IT support processes.
    • Maintain Windows server environment, including but not limited to Active Directory, File, IIS, and Application.
    • Maintain Group Policy and implementation of all operating systems upgrades, and applications used.
    • Develop training and training materials for end users.
    • Maintain phone system(s) at all locations. 

    Other Responsibilities: 

    • Recommend enhancements to streamline and improve efficiency of IT support.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    Education and Experience Required:

    • HS Diploma or GED or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
    • Two year’s previous experience as an IT Technician or Administrator with increasing responsibilities.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

    • Strong customer service experience required.
    • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with people at various levels within the organization and with a wide variety of technology skills and abilities.
    • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and satisfactorily resolve problems with varying degrees of difficulty.
    • Ability to support and configure the following:
      • Windows 7, 10
      • Microsoft Office 365
      • Domain environment
      • Setup and configuration of laptop and desktop computers
    • Ability to think critically.
    • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers and provide superior customer service as needed.
    • Ability to do multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Ability to juggle competing demands effectively. 

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Associate Degree or greater in computer science, technology, or related field.
    • 4+ years’ previous work experience in IT position that required interaction with various skill levels and backgrounds.
    • IT related certifications (MCP, A+, Network+, etc.).
    • Previous experience as System administrator supporting VLANs, networking equipment and infrastructure.

    Work Environment and Physical Demands: 

    • Occasional travel may be required.
    • Work is generally performed in an office environment with standard office equipment and little to no exposure to the elements.
    • Ability to view and use a computer monitor, keyboard, and general computer equipment for extended periods of time.
    • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
    • Ability to lift to 60 lbs. occasionally
