Regular Part-Time


Principal Objective of Position:

The Ambassador is responsible to provide front desk coverage, greet and assist residents and visitors, and ensure the property and amenity areas are maintained in compliance with company standard operating procedures.


Essential Functions:
The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors.
• Greet residents and visitors as they enter and exit the building, answer questions as needed, and assist with package retrieval when necessary.
• Monitor the security cameras for any behavior inconsistent with company or property procedure and notify the appropriate party immediately with any security or other concerns.
• Inspect the interior hallways and amenity locations on an hourly basis to ensure litter is removed, lights are functioning properly, and doors are closed and secured in accordance with standard operating procedure.
• Communicate with General Manager and contracted Courtesy Officer as needed during shift.
• Perform lock outs for residents as needed and in accordance with standard lock out procedure.


Other Responsibilities:
• Maintain a daily work log of activity performed during the shift.
• Promote community programs and events onsite.
• Administrative work as assigned by management staffs.
• Other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience Required:
• Previous customer service experience.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
• Availability to work a minimum of two shifts per week.
• Ability to effectively perform essential duties with little to no immediate supervision.
• Ability to maintain close attention to detail.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business policies, manuals, procedures, and/or government regulations.
• Ability to create reports and general business correspondence.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to unexpected situations.
• Ability and willingness to serve as a role model to property residents.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of and ability to effectively utilize email, internet, and MS Office applications.
• Ability to work extended hours during move-outs, move-ins, and turnover.
• Ability to work as needed during designated school breaks and holidays.


Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to speak and understand multiple languages, including but not limited to Arabic.


Work Environment and Physical Demands:
• Work environment will be primarily indoors with minimal exposure to the elements.
• Ability to walk long distances for short periods of time each hour.
• Ability to climb stairs.
• Ability to push, pull, and reach above the head occasionally.
• Ability to sit or stand for an extended period of time.
• Ability to use close and distance vision.
• Ability to view monitor screens for an extended period of time.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
