Principal Objective of Position:
The Turn Maintenance Assistant is responsible for assisting the Maintenance staff with the turn process. This includes repairing and restoring apartments for new tenants and providing additional maintenance support where needed.

Essential Functions:
• Assist Maintenance staff in repairing and restoring apartments to make-ready condition.
• Perform basic grounds keeping and maintenance duties.
• Perform general cleaning duties as assigned.

Other Responsibilities:
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:
• Minimum 6 months prior maintenance experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
• Ability to safely and effectively operate equipment.
• Ability to work independently and stay on task.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the months of June, July and August or as schedule requires.
• Ability to utilize a computer for basic tasks such clocking in and clocking out, using email, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Driver’s License preferred.
• Ability to provide own hand tools strongly preferred

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
• Inside and outside work.
• Will be exposed to weather extremes.
• Ability to walk, bend, stoop, crouch, crawl, and reach on a regular and consistent basis.
